Description

A bedroom chest of drawers with 4 drawers and two open compartments. The drawers are push to open with Blum drawer guides. The top has been sanded with Iroko oil.

Work description: how did you realize your project

I had the plan for some time, but it never happened. First made a drawing for the proportions and looked at the distribution of the drawers and compartments.

Worked out for the exact dimensions. Also with the dimensions of the drawer guides. Assembled with lamellos and wood glue. With some fitting boards for the inside dimensions. Made and installed the drawers. And put the iroko top in oil. (Rigo royl, sanding)

Securing the fronts was a difficult job, because the space between the fronts was a bit tight at 2 mm. Next time 3 mm.

Took some time, occasionally a weekend or evening. But I am very happy with the result.

Final size: What are the outside dimensions?

150.0 cm wide, 40.0 cm high and 35.0 deep. The legs are 18.0 cm.
