Description
I made a desk for the study from MDF lacquer with a thickness of 28 mm. The desk is used for study and administrative work. I was looking for a sturdy worktop of at least 25 mm thick and 70.0 cm deep that is suitable for carrying several books and a large iMac.
How did you make the desk?
I first drew out the worksheet after measuring everything in my office. I have looked for this size worktop in several hardware stores, but it is almost unavailable. In addition, it is not possible to have open corners sawn at the hardware store, you will need a plunge saw for that. After some googling I came across this site. I was looking for a white worktop more than 25 mm thick made of MDF. I then entered the sizes on the website, ordered and it was delivered 3 days later. The top is supported by a metal corner profile that I have attached to the wall. For extra strength I decided to also place a single leg underneath. I am very satisfied with the result!
What are the dimensions?
The shape into which the desk has been sawn is a rectangle with a beveled short side.
The dimensions are 265, 0. x 246.0 x 70.0 cm
