I decided to replace my completely deteriorated folding shutters by building them from new marine plywood panels ordered from TOSIZE.se and cut to my measurements. If this type of shutter existed commercially, the project would cost about three times as much. Painting and delivery cannot be avoided and are therefore charged at full price. The hinges are installed on site after drilling the panels, as are the closures.

How I made this project

Purchase of the panels, three coats of paint, creation and production of a painted frieze, installation of the hardware, screwed hinges and linkage Assembly Installation in a building makes painting on site impossible, making painting mandatory before assembly The work was made easier by the impeccable quality of the panels which did not need to be sanded The painted frieze was designed in the style of the old friezes which decorate the facades of M'entonnais buildings.
