For our dining room / extra living room we were looking for a nice quiet cabinet, after we had changed the interior to some lighter colors. A black locker cabinet had to make way for a light, high cabinet. The space is high (approx. 3.20 m) and we wanted the cabinet to be the same height as the steel doors. By choosing a somewhat higher cabinet, the height in the space is emphasized better. Strangely enough, the space now seems larger than before now that a larger piece of furniture has been placed in it. :)

How I made this project

We assembled the cabinet ourselves via the website of TOSIZE.se. It's handy how you can determine for yourself how high and wide the cabinet should be, where you want shelves or doors and, for example, how thick the shelves should be. By the way, if you run into any problems during the design, you will be very well helped if you contact us. The cabinet was delivered neatly and I noticed that the shelves are of heavy quality. There is a drawing of the cabinet and you can also play videos of the steps of the entire assembly process via QR codes. We also selected and sorted all the dowels and screws. It is then a relatively simple process to assemble the cabinet. Not every step went equally quickly, but in general it went quite smoothly. You always build it from left to right. After we had placed the last top shelf, we sealed some visible seams. It looked really good, especially on the inside! The next day we started painting. We didn't use a primer, but lightly sanded the cabinet and started painting. We used matte lacquer from Shades By Eric Kuster, the color Dune. We are very happy with the result.
