Custom-made bookcase floating in high gloss, by Jan-Willem

Jan-Willem is a furniture maker and makes custom-made furniture for his customers. Depending on the project, he orders the sawing work online. This also applies to this floating custom bookcase. By choosing MDF paint carrier film, painting is relatively easy. He converted the customer's design into beautiful custom furniture.

Description of Jan-Willem

At the customer's request, I made a bookcase that had to be hung floating . Everything painted in high gloss in the same color as the wall.

How I made this project

First of all, I made drawings from which the customer chose. Then made a cutting list and ordered the materials. After putting everything together in the workshop, everything was taken apart again. First apply the end edges twice in the special MDF primer. Then the whole thing was painted twice in high-gloss paint in the same color as the wall where the cupboard was to be hung with pins that are used to hang floating bookshelves. Everything was assembled on location and the cabinet was hung in all its glory. The result is a very satisfied customer for a real cabinet from Jan-Willem.
