Bar table for window made of Timmerpanel Pine

Description

We have made a custom bar top for the window on the site of the old kitchen, so that we can work, read, have breakfast or draw here with a nice view of the front garden :). We may paint it a different color later, but for now we really like the natural wood grain!
We are very happy with the end result and we sit here very often!

How did your table made?

We ordered the plank to the full width of the living room and in the correct depth, so that you can easily fit your legs under it when you sit on a bar stool. We then measured and marked out the corners of the windowsill and cut them out with a jigsaw. In addition, the edge at the front was lightly sanded to prevent splinters. The top is supported by the frame on the old windowsill and on the sides on two wooden supports.
