Extra storage space is always nice to have in the kitchen. In this DIY project Stijn shows how he made an extra cupboard. For this he ordered sawn MDF online; This way he could immediately start his DIY project.

Description by Stijn

I have been busy making a cupboard for the kitchen. The construction of the cupboard is the same as a kitchen. The doors fit into the sides and top. At a later time I will add slats to the left door.

How I made this project

Step 1: attaching beams to the bottom of the cabinet (later there will be a plinth can be mounted to the beams).
Step 2: attach the dividers to the bottom of the cabinet.
Step 3: attach the sides to the bottom of the cabinet.
Step 4: top attach to the sides and dividers.
Step 5: attach the back to the sides, dividers and bottom. (The back has been left slightly shorter for ventilation)
Step 6: Door mounted 1 on a side and 2 doors on partitions.
Step 7: attaching the edges. This is done with corners

Dimensions of my DIY project

Height: 87.2 cm excluding beams.
Width: 150.0 cm
